A house for a couple in retirement. A dream house on a property held for years in anticipation. A house representing years of clippings, travel memories and life experiences. A house of vision, a memory palace, a house made by hand, by the owner.
The coastal setting offers inspiration through shared cultural memory. It speaks a shared language that is at once easy to understand and fleeting. It's a delicate place where gestures matter. Here you build with care and respect.
It's not a place to flaunt your ego or impress your friends. It's a place of humility, where you are keeper of a patch of ground and guest in a larger house.
This is how we thought of this place and this house. A dialogue between the memories of culture and the realties of a place.
