The Ag Farm represents both a source of pride and distinction for the District. The Program receives great support and participation from the community. The design had to exhibit restraint and sensitivity to retain neighborhood good will.

As with other similar projects, the facility is a critical point of access for a particular segment of the student community. The facility is a setting for success and confidence for some students who may have a harder time at other locations in school. As such the architecture must generate a sense of ownership and pride for that student group. The project succeeds and is already a memorable and important place for program students, many utilizing it seven days a week.
